Here is the song of this phoenix,
 the melody embodied in every feather of her wings.

She rises upward from
the ashes of outrage,
freed by Kali’s fire—
her lament now a praise song: 

“Let my love be heard.
Let my love be heard.
Let my love be heard!”

And the hills are echoing…
echoing… echoing…
